Chris graduated from Mount Carmel High School with the Class of 1966 after attending St Columbkille’s Grammar School. Upon graduation Chris went to two junior colleges: LA Harbor J.C. and Southwest J.C. before attending California State Dominguez Hill were he graduated in 1971.  He has been married for 38 years to a girl (Martha Martinez) who attended St. Michael's High School, and has three children: Rachel, Brent and Jennifer. After graduation from college, Chris went to work at the family business Casa Herrera, Inc which manufactures food equipment for the Tortilla and Tortilla Chip Industry. Chris has worked in several different levels of the company were he is now Sales Manager. Chris still lives in LA County in the City of La Habra Heights. Chris has very strong family ties to Mount Carmel through his 6 brothers, most who graduated from Mount Carmel, and two sisters who attended local Catholic Girls High Schools.
